Listen Top Billboard 2012 Music in Review
Are you ready for a blast from the past? Of course time will forever move forward with or without us, but we can always take a look back and reflect on things both good and bad. We need those good and bad things to help us to move through life and make things better and better each year. The good things keep us happy and willing to reflect on things of the past and have hope for the future. The bad things help us to learn the lessons of life and know what things we should or should not do for future references. Well one thing we are going to do here today is look back to the year 2012 music and review. The top 10 songs we will comment on are directly from the Billboard end of the year report for the top artists of 2012 music so don't be angry with us since we didn't choose your favorite. Actually, a lot of our favorites aren't on the list either, but we will try to be fair and give our honest opinions.
Now let's hop in our imaginary time machines and travel back into 2012 music for a moment.
10. One Direction with "What Makes You Beautiful"
This song kind of seemed like it came out of nowhere and took over the world. Nice catchy song. Even though we didn't care for it personally, we are shocked it didn't rank higher on the end of year because the song seemed to get played everywhere you can go.

9. Nicky Minaj with "Starships"
This song by Nicky Minaj was something shocking as it seriously became a hit and a nice one at that. Also, it helped that this song came out around summer and really made you want to play it as you went to the beach.

This is from their album about party anthems and it surely became one for us and many others.

5. Ellie Goulding with "Lights"
We think she kind of slid in there past everyone with a nice hit song even if we think some of our own favorites could have taken the spot just as easily if they had gotten enough support.
